The main view of Backup Premium consists of the:

  • Main menu – see Program Menus topic.
  • Toolbar
  • Summary Pad
  • Navigation View
  • Backup Log

 

Toolbar

Program toolbar has the following options:

  • Backup – start backup operation
  • Refresh – refresh backup set and check for any changes made
  • Stop – stop any current operation
  • Properties – edit backup set properties

Summary Pad

Summary pad is a special view on the left of the main window that holds the following information:

 

Backup Summary

  • Backup destination
  • Compression type (if enabled)
  • Encryption (if enabled)
  • Scheduler info (if enabled)
  • Last Run Time
  • Next Run Time (if scheduler enabled)
  • Identical – percentage of backed up files

 

Backup Status

  • OperationState
  • State description
  • Progress (if working)
  • Time Started (if working)

 

Navigation View

Navigation view has Explorer-like interface. It shows the list of all files and folders included into the backup set. You can browse your backup set by double clicking folders.

Click   button to go Up one level.

You can also choose the required folder from your backup set through address combo box:

Backup Log

Backup log is located under the navigation view. It shows last operation log. You can minimize/restore log view by clicking group button: .

There are three log detail levels:

  • Basic – includes only operation status information and errors if any.
  • Medium – includes operation processing details without extended FTP logging.
  • Full – includes operation processing details along with extended FTP logging.

Log Detail Level can be changed through main menu or log context menu.
