Everyday (preferably during the night while the computer is idle) you should make the incremental backup of your files. Incremental means that only the files that have been changed since the last backup are copied. This guarantees that you always can restore the yesterday’s copies of your files.
Once a month you should make the full backup of the important files and keep it together with two earlier full backups. In this way you can restore some earlier versions of your files, which can also be valuable.

How to arrange the automatic backup optimally with Backup Premium?

With Backup Premium you can easily arrange the above approach in the following way:

Set the backup scheduler on the everyday backup of the files (on "Scheduler" tab page of backup properties).
On the tab "How to backup" choose the option with storing of the last 3 month’s backups. This means that at the beginning of every month the important files will be backed up into a new folder while the oldest folder is deleted.
